In Mislinja, there are several churches, but we are now at the parish church of St. Egidij / Giles, first mentioned in 1296. The current post-Baroque building was constructed between 1815 and 1819, preserving the early Gothic chancel tower from the late 13th century. The interior is post-Baroque in style. A Roman tombstone from Zgornje Dovže is built into the church wall, and behind the church stand the gravestones of former owners of the Mislinja manor.
