Take a photo with the statue. The entrepreneur, Michelangelo Zois, purchased the ironworks in 1753. He handed over the estate to his son, Žiga Zois, in 1770. Žiga Zois was a well-known patron of the Slovenian artists. The estate, which included a big garden and a park, was cared for extremely well. The park is for the most part still preserved. The magnificent trees, which are about 250 years old, are one of the largest in Slovenia.
